Virginia C. Martinson, (1921-2007) describes her home front experience in World War WII. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1943 with degrees in sociology and English. In 1950 she married World War II Navy veteran, Ralph J. Martinson, and the couple had two children.
